DB500s - Power Supply

    Looking for a power supply in the U.S. for my DB500s. My other one went bad and need to get a new one.


    Someone suggested that it has to be 12v regulated power supply, center positive. The one I had I think was 1 amp but heard the older power supplys were .6 amp.


    Any thoughts on the best place to secure one - either online or at a store - say Radio Shack? Thanks!

    The original DM 500-S powersupplys are 12 Volt 1A on the older once.
    The newer once are 12 Volt 2A


    Don't use one that is under 1A.
    (you need the power for the LNBs to work like they should)
    I would recomend you to get the 2A one.
    It should not give you a problem if it is more than 2A.
    Only problem is that its big and ugly :face_with_tongue:
    Remember to test the voltage, + and -
    before you plug it in!
    Voltage should be between 12 and 13 Volt.
