I'm afraid I can't see any difference between both (?) versions - would you enlighten me please?

But one thing I can say for sure, we won't be able to tell you the correct pnum unless you post at least the line containing the "to be patched" filenames. You should take a look at the manpage of patch anyway, this might save you some trouble.

Despite of those points I'd say it's right
