My 7025 unit freezing unexpected every 10-60 Min randomly

    HI,
    My 7025 unit freezing unexpected every 10-60 Min randomly on foreign images , so I tried to move to original image 2.3 and the same problem appear
    I tried to remove the second tuner & removing the diseqc needs but nothing…
    May be you have any idée what wrong….any help will be appreciate, since my electronics skills did not help me till now ….
    - Sometimes I am not getting the picture but signal good.

    No....I stop using CF before 6 months.
    may be you know if it is posible that I have capacitor problem issue, please note that I have this unit since than 1/2006 (First model).....

    does it happen when Harddisk is active (recording, playback) ?


    Because it could be that your power supply is dyning and when the hardisk runs it si simply too much for the box.


    And have you checked the temperature of your box (with hddtemp in telnet) ?

    Good signal - no picture- this may be the video chip's too hot - try this:
    open the box and clean it from any accumulated dust with a natural hair brush and vaccuum cleaner.
    I was amaized what a difference it made- my box wasn't showin correct time, freezed all the time-one word, unstable. All fixed when I cleaned it!
