status leds

    I was wondering what the red/green status leds meen when the red led flashes very fast continues and I can't use dreamup to flash the box.


    the only message that I get my box does something is that my hyperterminal sees 1 word "dream600pvr" and nothing else.


    Dreamup get the message that I connected a dream600pvr, but it never get's to load the first bootloader.

    Same problem here. Was on holiday for two weeks. DM600 powered off in this time. Now powered on again and the only thing that happens is the red LED flashing rapidly. Can anyone give any information about this? Is it defect or not? Flashing is not possible with latest DreamUP. Tried it several times. Flashing another box is fine though.


    Auf deutsch: Habe das gleiche Problem. War zwei Wochen im Urlaub und nach dem ich wieder da bin und die DM600 eingeschaltet habe blinkt nur noch die rote LED ziemlich schnell. Flashen über DreamUP habe ich mehrmals probiert, aber kein erfolg. Er lädt den fllash loader gar nicht erst auf die Box. Erkannt wird die DM600 aber von DreamUP noch.


    Ist die Box kaputt und muss eingeschickt werden? Wenn ja, was könnte defekt sein?

    Hab es selber rausgefunden mit nem Multimeter. Das Netzteil ist defekt. Die Box selber läuft mit einem anderen Netzteil.


    The power supply unit does not deliver 12V. It's only 6-8V. So the DM600 does not start and the red LED flashes rapidly.
