Making image with Mandriva Linux 2006

    Can anybody please advise where I can get monotone 0.24 or higher for Mandriva Linux 2006 ?

    Well, you sorted out. Fine! But let me write down my Mandriva 2006 experience for OE build. Although this topic is for Enigma 2, monotone is an issue for both E2 and E1...


    The current monotone version is 0.31. Higher and lower versions does not support the OE SQLite database.


    Without knowing this, I found the rpm for monotone 0.28 and tried to install it. This installation required glibc to be upgraded. This upgrade removed almost every package of KDE and my KDE was corrupted. This was the moment I decided to give up on Mandriva 2006 and search for another distribution.


    So, I switched to Fedora 7 (RC2). I had an ncurses build error. And finally I installed Fedora Core 6. Now I am using my own dm7020 image :smiling_face:

    I found a monotone 0.31 executable, and it is working - making some progress. But I have a glibc compile error, will look into it tomorrow.
