DM500 Crash/Freeze

    Hi all,


    I've just bought a DM500 and set up it.


    I've tried different images: official 1.08, 1.09 and Gemini 3.30.
    The GUI is Enigma (1) with Italian interface.


    The problem is that the box seems to freeze in every random time, while simply watching a channel.


    With the 1.08 images it reboots and then starts up again.
    With the other two images it just freezes, it no longer accepts any kind of input (remote controller, network, power button), but the channel is still displayed correctly, sometimes with the info OSD stuck on it.
    Sometimes it happens to continue operating correctly after lots of minutes.


    The problem seems to occur more frequently when doing massive channel zapping.


    Has anyone experienced something similar? Any hints?
    Could be an hardware problem? Should I ask for substitution?

    hi, i have the same problem with mine.


    it looks all legal with hollograms.


    i want to try and send it back to dream as its only a week old????


    im not sure where and how i can return it thou?


    its very annoying :frowning_face:


    id have said its a problem with the memory chip :s


    as one day i went to turn it on and nothing loaded.
