I see on the OE2.0 feed there are drivers, modules etc for the em28xx usb tuner.
I've tried manually installing and I can see the tuner is initialised but it never shows in the tuner setup.
What is the correct way to install it ?

as far as I know DVB-T2 is not supported
No those are the specific drivers for my DVB-T2/ DVB-T USB module. In other words no other usb module use em28xx.
The Pli and derivative images use their variant of em28xx drivers and modules and DVB-T2 works just fine but I prefer OE2.0
You need also usbtuner: on IHAD board yuo can find it with all the informations to get it working.
Really, for OE2.0 ?
Any chance you can provide a link ?
PCTV nanoStick T2 works very well (8000, 7020HD) with em28xx and P.. (should disable the internal DVB-T tuner), with O.E 2.0 remains restart and does not work. And anywhere i have not found a solution.

Write ihad on Google and on first entry you find the link....go to the board and search usbtuner.....very easy.
Thanks, I did already find the thread but unfortunately the method doesn't work.

Thank you so much for this. I have been looking for a way to get DVB-T2 channels for a long time. This is actually the first time I hear it's possible. I've tried it out on Pli and it works just great.
Sadly I was not able to make it work on OE2.0 either.

You don't really need to disable the internal DVB-T tuner. You can use both and give but you have to give a higher priority to the USB tuner (there is a setting for that -- use the menu button) or the DVB-T2 channels won't work. The only problem I have right now is if the USB tuner is already used by a DVB-T channel when I want to watch / record a DVB-T2 channel. In that case the box tries to tune the DVB-T2 channel with the internal tuner, which it does not support.
Well actually I have had some problems when using both an internal DVB-T tuner and a USB DVB-T2 tuner.
Now I have removed the internal tuner and I'm using two USB tuners instead.. So far it's working really well.
