hi all i'm new to this site and would appreciate any help in getting my laptop to see my dreambox. The dreambox is connected directly into a wireless router via an ethernet cable and is connected to the internet, when i go to my laptop to search for it, it doesn't find it would appreciate any help on this issue

are you sure the Dreambox is connected to the internet? How did you test it?
If your Dreambox is connected to your router, take a look into the router and determine the IP address. Next try to ping that IP address from your laptop. Does this work?
Are your laptop and your Dreambox in the same subnet?

all sorted thanks just took a long while to connect i new the dreambox was connected as the ip address was in the network settings.
any ideas why i cant get EUTELSAT 16 E on my motorised dish i'm trying to watch TRING and cant get it seem to get all the others is it some setting in the DiSEqC page
