My DM7020 had the option for a permanent time-shift, which I had set to 5 seconds, so my tuner would start recording 5 seconds after switching channels, so I could always "rewind" back to the beginning.
My DM8000 doesn't have that option.
Does anybody here know if that option will ever become available in the DM8000 ?

Vey very disappointed, such an expensive sat-receiver and not proper time-shift while all the el-cheapos have one.

I have installed it, it's slightly better than the original time-shift, but still not what I expect from such an expensive receiver.

Guess we'll have to do it with this.

Any idea what the option "Alternate timeshift per event" does ?
