I purchased a DM800 on the 1st of May 2009 and I recently noticed an issue with my DM800. It developed a tuner fault whereby the signal does not go beyond 39%.

Initially I thought it was the Satellite dish not aligned properly but I then plugged in my Dm500 and signal was 90%. So I reflashed the box with the latest image, checked the connections and made sure settings were all correct but still the signal did not improve. I heard it can be caused by heat so I left it off for 24 hours but it still did not help.

PS my friend who also bought a DM800 kindly leant it to me so I can check if it was the box or the satellite. When I plugged his box in I get an SNR of 91% on BBC, but when I plug my DM800 I get 39% and then either the picture freezes or it says "tuner failed"
