DMM can fix it... but they have to put it into their closed source code (cpp)...
-
Und wie laufen die eigenlich???

So finally we can expect a new kernel.....?

recipes/tuxbox/tuxbox-tuxtxt-32bpp.bb: make tuxtxt a standalone application again.. (we cant link against a GPL lib because of enigma2 license)
TODO: fix sometimes realy slow screen clearing -
This is not on your box... these files exists when you made an image yourself in the development/compile system.
-
You can still build your own image and use the patch from PLi... I'm the auther from this part of the code for PLi. Hereby DMM is allowed to use it so every image could profit from it. It is a relatively simple patch in /lib/services/servicedvb.cpp (excluding the way to make this configurable).
-
In open PLI there is a solution for this.
-
Problem solved... I suggest it was due to the I2C driver issues...
-
I can confirm this.
-
Hereby I anounce that DMM could take over the solution I committed into the enigma2 open brench of our team. If you need further information, help or suggestions they are free to contact me.
Possibly it could be added to the plugin contest - but in fact it is not a plugin - but a patch
Due to leackage of time I'm not able to create a opendreambox build and therefore create a direct diff for opendreambox. Probably another one can help.
Modified source files from our team to merge are: setup.xml, menu.xml, audioSelection.py, UsuageConfig.py, pmt.cpp, pmt.h, servicedvb.cpp, InfoBarGenerics.py.
-
First the code should be granted by the DMM devs.
-
Opendreambox need to perform the patches as most part of the patch is in cpp-code... there is no easy fix available

Good luck with testing the auto subtitles As you can see this is more complicated then the audiolanguages as you have to deal with hearing impaired subs (some providers do not set the parameters correctly) and most times you do not want to see subtitles if the audio language is the same as the subtitles, but sometimes you will see them...
For recordings in case of teletext subtitles without PTS I want to add a delay option... but then I found a big race condition around checkSubtitleTiming() >which also includes a lot of eDebug output, RaRa<...
-
They can ask.... I'm sure that PLi will give it back...
-
tuxtxt cache could be retreived from openpli...

Just convince the Pli-guys to send their stuff as patches to the development mailing list and somebody will have a look at it.
Why not just take a look at openpli git and commit it back? Or that someone else could try to make the commit. Especially in font.cpp there are curremty a lot of differences....
-
Why does DMM not look at OpenPLi and commit what they did into git... ?
We solved the breaking lines (which in fact is due to a big bug spagetti code). Add borders to the subtitles (black border around the characters not bars). Made multiple colours per line possible (changes in font.cpp)
