I ask about DB, the UP was example.
When the Up is visible, it's on the left of DB, so this question is about DB.
But ok I'll also ask on IHAD. (I thought is was a indicator of OE2.0.x)

    Hello topicstarter.

I use OE2.0.X for a long time now (since the beginning).
Keep in mind that OE2.0 is a bit a light image. If you want maximum joy then added the Gemini plugin (bluepanel) after you flash the original DMM opendreambox oe2.0.0 image.
See here how to do so (In Dutch, you can copy text and translate it with google translate to German).

Most easy way is: flash newnigma2 beta image. Then you have oe2.0.x with all working extra's.

So what they show at the Anga cable show in 2012 is all refreshed? Otherwise it is already 2 years old.
That's what i mean (no offence). Why don't we get any new Dream Multimedia news the last 10 (!) months?
For example about the state of the Dreambox Goliath development. I like my DM8000 a lot. I'm interested in what Goliath will be.

It would be nice if Goliath will be allowed by coax cable isp's (like Ziggo/UPC in Netherlands).

    Hey DHWZ.

Well remember the 'Anga Cable show' in june 2012?
Click here for a memory refreshment.

The only info we have is a video. Seems like Goliath is made by 'Boston Dynamics ' if you see the Goliath video.
Oh, that's not possible anymore since Google bought Boston Dynamics.

Check my topic from october 2012: click here .

Where did you read about Goliath hoax. (it's obvious, we wait already 3 years, so if they start selling Goliath now, then it's already outdated hardware :grinning_squinting_face:

    Hello all.

I have 4x twin lnb with 2x 4 port switches on two tuners on a DM8000.
    Port A = 19,2e, Port B = 28.2e, Port C = 23.5e, Port D = 13.0e.

I always used the simple DisEqC A/B/C/D tuner configuration, and the second tuner set to equal as the first configured one. It all works oke.

I have a 3th DVB-S2 tuner with blindscan support plugged in the DM8000. I want to use that tuner as first priority.
In Openpli based images you can set up a preferred tuner in simple tuner configuration, but with DMM OE2.0.X based images you can only do that in the advanced tuner configuration.

I'm struggling with getting the tuners to work in advanced configuration. I get as result now a tuned failed.

    Simple configuration works excellent.

Now can somebody please tell me how the advanced tuner configuration can be configured the same way as how simple DiSEqC A/B/C/D is configured?
So that i have a basic advanced configuration to start with with my used lnb/switch setup.

Thanks for replies. In my fonera 2.0n router i'd port 8001 and 443 forwarded to the DM8000, but i remove that now from router configuration.

crossepg only refresh at 5:45 am.

    result of ps -ef is:
    no streamproxy

update: I think it's solved by removing the portforwarding to port 8001. Forwarding to 443 is still active from router to DM8k.
Weird becasue i use a unique password. Only place where i drop the password is in android app Dreamdroid. Is Dreamdroid sending the login unsecure? (maybe the dns provider of my public ip afraid.org).
OMG maybe that the damn NSA or GCHQ was watching my received channels.
I think it must be the port 8001 forwarding. (so nomore live tv over wan to my smartphone)

    Hello all.
I have a strange issue with my DM8000.
I use uptodate OE2.0 image from opendreambox (DMM). That is dreambox-image-dm8000-20140314.nfi

The DM8000 shows a blinking blue powerbutton, and in the info bar the signal of a recording going on.

But i didn't press the record button, i didn't setup a timer, and their is no recording going on (nothing to see on harddisk movie location).

If i turn off the device in stanbby and switch it on again the recording indicators stay active.
If i deep standby , followed by mechanical turn off with powerswitch from the back, wait ten seconds and then turn it on, then the recording indicators are off.

But come back after a few minutes.
Sometimes the recording indicators stop for a seconds, and then start again with showing that their is a rcording going on, but it is not.

Recording itselves (rest of DM8000) works good.

I discovered it today when i was doing a -once a half year reflash to clean up DM8000- walk trough system settings.

For others who want to have audio on a AC3+ channel: I think it's a downmix/sample/thingy function to convert AC3+ in real time to AC3. (or would the DM8000 really output AC3+ over s/p-dif and DVI-D ?)

    It's here on newer OE2.0 based images: Menu > Setup > System > A/Vsettings > Convert AC3+ to AC3.

So the final result is AC3 quality and not above that what AC3+ can offer, but not yet used in radio/tv broadcast.

    Some differences:
    AC-3 :
    Max. 5 (.1)channels.
    Max. 640Kbps.

    AC-3+ / E-AC-3 / Enhanced-AC-3 :
    Max. 15 channels.
    Max. 6.144Mbps.
    Multi program support (substreams)
Additional tools (algorithms) for representing compressed data and counteracting artifacts.

If anyone experience a receiver that shows AC3+ instead of AC3 or experience a channel that outputs more then 6 channels, then we know that AC3+ is really supported and not downmixed to AC3.

We're at 10 januari now 2014. Almost 2 years waiting for...

Any clue when the BDMV burn support will work properly in the DVD burn plugin? (yes with recordings that are edited with cutlisteditor to remove start and end before and after movie).

I know the OE2.0 is a beta image, but come on it takes sooooo loooong to get the BDMV working in DVDburn.
    Why ? :question_mark:

Sd channels of dutch channels do have a picon with ocram picons located in /media/cf/picon
    So that is working.
The one from geminifeed are not uptodate, and not updated frequently like ocram does.

    Ok let's ask different:
Who knows a download location for frequently updated picons that work on a dreambox and that supports at least the satellite positions 13.0e + 19.2e + 23.5e + 28.2e.
    Anyone?

There are 2 xepgdb sources, krkadoni and sifteam. krkadoni is the old one and was removed a long time ago from crossepg, i think. back to sifteam. I heard they switched the server. Therefore the xepgdb content is not up2date (25.10). http://crossepg.sifteam.eu/ The sources.xml is also wrong. It only contains 4 provider at the moment. push "update xepgdb" in crossepg and look at the xepgdb providerlist.

for now you have to use the sloooooooooooow xmltv stuff.

Many many thanks for your reply. I inform others too , thanks a lot!
