    Hello guys,
I have been using DM 800se for almost 2 years now and as far as I understand, drivers do not support PiP feature.
I know it could be used only for the same transponder but it might be useful.
So my question is if it will be possible to enable PiP in the future? Watching 1 channel, I would like to ba able to watch another channel (or listen to the radio) from the same transponder.
    What do you think guys?

Hi everyone , Just bought the MD800e HD PVR when I scan for channels it can not find any channels , internet connection is fine and all cable connected just the way it should. but its not finding anything, is there anything I need to do to have it working ?

    Is this original 800se?

Yes, but I am using a different image ant the team has a policy of not modifying Enigma2 code and they refer us to Dream Multimedia for such modification.
It would really be great to have an option of delaying subtitles in steps of 1 second, by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 seconds.
Thanks in advance because I do not want to use PLI.

Coming back to the EPG, I have the following proposal.
It would be ideal to have something like that in the menu:

    EPG options:
    - EIT on
    - EIT off

If EIT is on, it would be possible to have a kind of "blacklist" file, where channel reference numbers would be specified for those channels for which we do not want EPG from satellite. This is for channels which are missing EPG from satellite but EPG may be available from other sources (Rytec, CrossEPG, etc.)

If EIT is off, it would be possible to have a kind of "whitelist" file, where channel reference numbers would be specified for those channels for which we want EPG from satellite. For example because it is missing from other sources (Rytec, CrossEPG, etc.)

What do you think about this proposal?

I use Sherlock plugin but the information is not enough.
I would really appreciate it if someone could come up with a plugin which would provide the information shown on the screenshot above (example is for RTL Crime).
The information includes not only scrambling system but also CAID, provider ID (if available) as well ECM and EMM PIDs.
For me, however, CAID's and provider ID's would be satisfactory.

    arki,
I don't know what image you are using but in my image this looks different.
I am using a certain image from December 2010. Perhaps this information has been added within the last 6 months?

Edit: In the pictures I can see that CAID's are identified as well as ECM pids. But there are no provider ID's.

I would like to confirm that such option of disabling EPG from satellite might be quite useful in some cases.
So if you, developers, have time, you might think about it if it's not too much trouble.

http://www.dream-multimedia-tv…php?page=User&userID=1122Ghost, thank you very much for your detailed reply.
If it is a problem on the provider's side, the only thing that comes to my mind (beside contacting the provider, which you suggested) is to introduce an option for "subtitle delay" by 1-2-3-4-5-6 seconds.
But I'm afraid my proposal will not be at the top of "the things to do" because it concerns only some providers.
Anyway, if you find this option easy to do, I would really appreciate it if you thought about introducing it.
    Thank you.

I have this problem on almost all Sky UK channels apart from Channel 4 HD which is FREE and easily available in Europe. It works OK perhaps because it is not scrambled?
I have problems with subtitles on Polish channels, too. I cannot check any other channels (such as Sky Germany) because I have no access to them.

Anyone can confirm that subtitles appear too early on movies recorded to HDD?
Or is it just my problem?

If somebody could record to HDD a couple of minutes of any Sky UK channel which broadcasts subtitles (HD movie channels or whatever) and then play it from HDD, you will notice that the subtitles appear 3-4 seconds too early. So watching recorded films with subtitles becomes a nightmare.
    Can somebody check that, please?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

I am using DM800se with [Moderator] Image is in violation of the Boardrules [/Moderator]but this seems to be a general Enigma2 bug.

Recently I have been recording some films from Sky Movies bouquet from Sky UK, using timer or red button.
Now I wanted to watch them, with subtitles turned on.
I was very surprised to see that the subtitles appear several seconds too early throughout the film when watched from HDD.
There is no such problem when watching directly from satellite.
Perhaps not all channels have this error but most, I think, do.

Could you please look into this?
    Thanks.
