i have noticed , when selecting Europe and use +4 the time zone work fine as example in dubai ,
but if i select Asia and used Dubai +4 the time goes to 0 GMT .

we have got several complains from clients they cannot scan 11230 and 11290 freq with DMtwo .

mr habib , when expert does not answer you or help then no other option else then sending the device back to us or to Germany and wait till it is replaced.

DHWZ helped dreambox bugs fixing and not helping us in person . the issues we addressed here was bug in dreambox and thanks for him fixing them and we appreciated him a lot while the job was done for Dreambox product and its success, not for my house or my family.
and we never cry sir and will never , we ca manage our living without your brand the market has a lot if you are not wishing to support it is your choice but then stop asking us on whatsapp how is sales.

I dont now about Dreambox, but i 100% sure this is not a core function in any OE-A build and not in the OE 3.0 Vuplus factory image or any other None DreamOS image.

But if you point us in the correct direction to what plugin is in use then there are more then enough people on this board that probably could convert the plugin for DreamOS also

in this case all plugin used in dreambox are illegal and we all know who create them and how it was supported.
the request is not to be added as officially or in the official image but as a plugin and who will do it does not matter same as someone pushed to have vod netflix and amazon and emulators and dreamxtream and lot of plugins and without their existance the box no one will use it we request this to be added no matter who is behind and what team or programmer is going to do it , or many dealers going to search for other brands to keep sales running when an important feature is needed for a big region from 21 countries.

seagen this is not IPTV ,it is satellite channel but the receiver has option to use external audio source and the client can add the source he wish , without this option you cannot move a single box sales these days as all boxes have it in MENA region and it is high demand from all clients.

and for dream guys giving us lesson about legal and illegal ??? Dreambox users in other countries does not use emu and sharing so pls enough bla bla bla.

sales are zero in MENA region and soon we will skip your brand sales if you continue none supporting your client like other brands do.

contact your management ( owner and ceo ) to find out how much the business is in success these days and if they are happy none supporting MENA region. and pls keep Arabs away from discussion as all races use Dreambox for emu and sharing and iptv .

this is pure business requests and without adding option there will be no sales and we already lost the market to other brands as simple a it is.
the request is to give option to dreambox owner to add external audio source and nothing is illegal in this , the box owner is responsible what sources he use in his box and not the dreambox company

after the update the EMC did not switch the epg language.

i used the same file you gave us earlier : plugin.py ( send to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EnhancedMovieCenter )
reboot the box but this time could not success to switch the language. as before.

i noticed : when i select the channel the epg title appear in Arabic and in few seconds it goes to English while the description remain always in English.

we are not asking to provide any source of audio or streaming , so it has nothing to do with legal stuff .
the user is free to enter his external source and he is responsible for what he is using . ( same as emulators or iptv or other ilegal things ) they add to any box and they are responsible for their act . so shall we stop all iptv plugins and so ?

now why needed :
as i said in your region maybe no one need such things because u can find everything in your own language , but for other regions it i needed because there is millions of people in 22 countries i am distributor for they like to have other language then the original . and all satellite companies has provided what clients need and they are happy and doing sales and earn money and users satisfied and our business goes down because we are still loyal to dreambox and we are missing support to convince our client like others did.

as well i got lot of thumbs down . i wish they would help better then waste time with thumbs.

seagen : yes sir the video is not from enigma box and it exist with android and none android as well . as i said most of boxes in my region have it except enigma2 .

dhwz : sir this feature exist in all boxes : icone pro / icon iron / starsat / stagold / mediastar / tiger / premium / and much more . and when it is possible with all these boxes we requested Dreambox management and they asked us to post our issues in forum to get professional and better help .
and since 20 years distributors for Dreambox it is our job to inform what we miss and what we face issues to be solved helping us to continue sales and satisfy our customers means Dreambox customers.
we thank you very much for solving the Arabic language and EMC epg bug issues as it helped 22 countries using our boxes .
and when all clients asking us for this external audio option it is our duty to request you the possibility to add instead of asking all client to complain and post here .

as i said first for enigma2 the subject was in the forum (Tunisia sat) some programmers were working on a plugin solution to add external audio source but either it became private or not finalized .
for Dreamos if the developers can spare some time to add this feature it help us a lot with satisfying clients and sales and we ask now because most of receivers have it and we dont.
maybe in Europe it is not that important but for us it is very important and we need help hope can be done .

we are not sure if we are explaining properly what needed . but it is working many receivers .
they call it external audio time shift .
lets say i am watching eleven sports with audio polish
i can switch to arabic audio from bein sports ( source from url coming from internet ) and if not well sync we use time shift so it match with the game
and we have eleven sports video and bein audio from url .

it is not nice to advertise for other brands here but most of receivers in market have this option .
client can enter the source they get from internet and switch between live audio and external added audio.
and the video shows the way .
if possible to have such feature will be great as everyone is requesting this from us . so we thought to post here if someone can help with it.

What you are talking about is Plugin AudioPip. Dont now if that plugin is for DreamOs but it has been around for OE-A for a longtime.

it that audio pip has option to use streaming audio url and let it play with the live channel instead of the official audio of it ?

in most of set top boxes in asia and african as well middle east all receivers has this feature and we miss it in dreambox and enigma ,
some programers tunisia if i am not wrong they tried to do a plugin for this but did not continue or they did private .
i dont want to name the brands but 90% of receivers now have .
the idea is , when watching lets say eleven sports from polish source or cosmote sports they have only their own language and not understandable.
so these receivers they gave an option to put streaming url with desired language and they can switch from live audio to the url added to play with the live video .

Subtitles are built by GStreamer not Enigma2, there is no font in the skin, Engima2 receives already rendered pictures from GStreamer. The font is always md_khmurabi_10.ttf there is no other one.

The subtitles you are refering to are only for teletext/DVB subs.

exactly because we have tried for a week all possibilities with skins and path before posting the issue here .
so dear dhwz in the net coming update the new modified font md_khmurabi_10.ttf will remain the same right .

the point about missing characters i dont know how to check the font .

No exactly that is what is not working, you cannot just replace md_khmurabi_10.ttf with ae._almateen.ttf as the font is looking really strange for latin characters.

But I have maybe another idea. But I've to check it first. I'll maybe come back to you for testing it.

Thank you dhwz , we are waiting for that test ,as you know we are 22 countries and this the fifth language globaly and we wish that dreambox to have it working in subtitles .
