Okay dosen't seem to be the reason for this problem at least, monitored the bit rate transfer when watching a movie, and it had problems when the bit rate was 17,7 Mbps, there is no problems when it is lower than this. So i think the problem is in the software somewhere, tried to transfer a file to the hdd in the dreambox and here i get 35 Mbps, but now i am buying an PS3, it shall be exciting to see if DMM have solved this problem, or at least given a respond in this thread of some sort, before the next millenium.

What hardware has the limitation so it can't produce a picture in 50hz, does the dm8000 have the same problem.

I'm not shure I understand how the autoresolution plugin work, I installed it a while ago, and set it to output 1080p content in 1080p, and then tryied to play a 1080p file, but my TV still displays that it receives 1080i, i can't see how it is outputted in 1080p then, or does the box emulate it somehow.

    Hi

Is it Possible to get the dm800 to output in 1080p, i have installed barry allen and there you can set it to 1080p, when i do that and reboot my TV displays that it outputs 1080p for a short while, and when goes back to 1080i when it begins to boot the RC.

    Thanks

    Hi

When you try to see the information about the program, the EPG dosen't show all the info, this problem occurs for the 2 next programs in the EPG. This problem occurs on all channels. I have a friend with a DM600, he has the same problem.

As you can see on the first screenshot there is missing some info after "Infokanalen har teks.."

Here is the information from 2 movies i have played from the internal HDD without problems:

So you think because of the CPU usage that 1080p content it can't transfer more than 1 MB/s, I think this is a different case because in a FTP transfer, it is a secondary task, so the dreambox will clock that down if there aren't enough resources, but here it is the primary task so it will get as many resources as it has.

    Hi

I have trouble streaming 1080p content from a NAS server i am useing the Media Player. Video lacks some places where there is alot of activity, but the NAS server should be fast enough, tested it with Intel NAS Performance Toolkit and it tests 35,4 MB/s in HD video playback, but the Dm800 only have 100 MBit/s Ethernet but it should still be able to get 12.5 Mb/s that should be plenty of bandwidth for 1080p. A standard movie in 4.1 is in the area 7.6 Mbit/s to 10.1 Mbit/s and a 5.1 movie around 12 Mbit/sbut this is only around 1 MB/s. I don't understand why it lacks if i copy it to the HDD in the Dm800 there is no problem.

I have also tried to connect the NAS directly to DM800 without router but is the same problem.

I am thinking it could be the software that has some limitations? any ideas?

    Thanks

have you tried to install release-candidate-dm800_20090822a it says in the changelog it should work.

Yes when 2 people are talking there is always a - infront off the txt for each people so all you have to do is check for them, then there should be some other rules if the txt is long, but i don't think that is so important.

Is there any updates planned to fix the problem?

Don't know why DMM don't fix the linie break, can't see that it should be a problem to check for "-" and then make a line break when another "-" occurs, and another if there should be more than 2 lines.

    Hi

I have problem with 2Sub 2.09-04 on my dm800 when i timeshift the subtiltes don't match the program it keeps displaying the subtitites after the original video.

Also when you play a TS file in the media player 2SUB starts displaying the subtitles to soon.

    Best Regards
