I mentioned yesterday that M6 HD had the same problem and today used your r20 version to first import the UK XMLTV and I still not get the same problem. Then I erased the epg.db and did the French XMTLV import and M6 HD was complete. When I looked yesterday in my Webinterface for the Dreambox I noticed that the long description was displayed but that all the other fields were Not Available (NA) so maybe it could have something to do internal cleaning of pointers to other records due to obsolete records. Time will tell and I can check later in the day for a transmission in the past that has many repeats.

About the satellites.xml I see that the 27.94-28.48 are all combined under 28.2 so they are all grouped.

update: now I have lost events after a few hours and a restart. Title, short/long description still is there together with the starting time. I will have look in de DB what is missing.

It take longer on startup and shutdown due to the time it takes write the big EPG.DB file.

Still doesn't work and that counts only for single EPG and in WebControl I have the full EPG working. So I assume it is up to DMM to check this.

Can you have a look at inserting the language provided by the XMLTV also into the database?

I have no success with the dirty patch and now also M6 HD have trouble. I am using a saved epg.db and will now read a fresh one in.

BTW I managed seemly to fill up all the memory because I had a few duplicates of 100MB epg.db files in /etc.enigma2

I have not yet edited EPGSelection.py but I have a other strange behaviour.

Been in the Info (Eventview.py) screen and went back and tied the yellow button and went back. Now only the first two lines have no long description and I have a wait till a event expires.

I will edit EpgSelection.py the time being DMM has a look into it. updat: that does not change the behaviour as above and I have to do a enigma restart.

I can try to put "en" in the line as language indication.

BTW I see the language indication present in the labels in front of title lang/sub-title lang/desc lang.

You are faster than me and just moved to the other room were my 7080 is and indeed BBC World is filled neatly with EPG.

Nice I did not know that BBC Four is now also HD so now I have all four in HD in my listing.

I browsed this afternoon in the database and looked for the title that was on that moment and I could only find it on two other places but not the on the name/SID for BBC One HD.

I see see the titles but I have no green button.....

Made screen shots and the first is without XMLTV import. Two is after XMLTV import and three a Dutch channel with complete functionality.

You can try BBC World which is also on 19.2

When I not used XMLTV yet I have now and next. After using XMLTV I have a few days of EPG but then only the short title.

When I do a second XMLTV import with an other listing them the database has still the same size or bigger but I am back to now and next on the UK channels.

I was looking at +0000 that is used to calculate the time correction. During the import it goes well and 0 time 3600 is 0 so that's work.

When I browse in the single EPG I see the following messages when on BBC One HD:

not found 011a0000 0802 0002 1b1d

And when it is read in by the box itself:

(DB)found 011a0000 0802 0002 1b1d

I see now it is not the Hashes.....

in der enigma.py findet man auch noch eEPGCache.setCacheTimespan wo man scheinbar eine Zeit übergeben kann wie oft der EPG Cache in die Datenbank rausgeschrieben werden soll, oder verstehe ich das falsch?

Was ist da der Default wert wenn man nichts angibt, und würde es reichen wenn man dort einen extraem grossen Wert übergibt damit enigma2 alles cached und dann erstmal gar nichts in die epg.db rausschreibt, weil das würde sinn machen während ich die epg.db befülle, weil ich sie nachher sowieso wieder lade und dann alle updates die in der Zwischenzeit passieren verloren gingen ?

Die r19 sehr gut. Die UK spinnt noch immer und die Informationen sind da aber werden nur nicht in de single-epg wiedergegeben. Kann mal eine andere skin probieren.

Also es ist doch nicht so verkehrt um Freunde in die Niederlande zu haben und es hat Gutemine sehr motiviert!

Für Bschaar, Redbutton zit nu in de UK XMLTV en alleen moet ik zo te zien de naam nog aanpassen alhier.

Denke schon. Outdated events sind nicht mehr nötig und können deleted werden. Neu eingelesene Information können zugefügt werden. Beim abschließen schreibt die box ein epg-journal.db die großer ist aber nach das abschließen ist die große vom egp.db gleich wie vorher.

Beim "saven" geht auch was falsch im Enigma:

Es ist die Arbeit vom Gutemine und kann nur schreiben was meine Erfahrungen sind mit seine arbeit. Mit die r15 Version habe ich weniger Glück und und teste verschiedene Optionen.

I had that also and just zap around on BBC/Sky channels and wait till the descriptions are read in then the timer button is also will become pressent. I tried it not yet myself.

OK, jetzt habe ich es probiert und es ist komisch. Gestern Abend alle Sender hatten eine description und Heute nach dem einlesen der epg.db nicht mehr. Aber wenn ich auf INFO drucke dann habe ich eine description fur jetzt und nächste und kann ich auch de timer-function benutzen.

The best is to first to zap to a channel without EPG pressent and the run import. It can also be the case that suspended writes are still coming in and then you just have be patient and wait till all goes quiet.
