This Player is starting the mp3 file from beginning and playing it till it ends. The breaks between the tracks is nearly 0 seconds. File selection for playing is easy going.
Thats all i wanted to have...
I do not care if the plugin uses hardware or software decoding, should I ?
Please let me know a better solution. :face_with_tongue:

No hard feelings, but the E2 hardware supports hardware decoding. so I prefer that. Hardware decoding cost less processor activity.

But sure, for the time being. sofware decoding is a good solution, waiting till DMM has fixed it.
btw, at the monment de Mediaplayer runs fine, only on a few tracks the player won't jump to the next track.

I remove the CF and the HDD now is correct mounted.. Work or ONLY HDD or ONLY CF (mounted on /hdd) WHY?

    Try this:

    Code
    rootfs / auto defaults 1 1
    proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
    devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
    usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0
    /dev/root /boot jffs2 ro 0 0
    tmpfs /var tmpfs defaults 0 0
    tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0
    /dev/discs/disc0/part1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0
    /dev/discs/disc1/part1 /media/CF auto defaults	0 0

About the problem, some MP3 stops at the end of the track, he plays the whole track, but Mediaplayer won`t jump to the next track.
But the dev who`s working on It can try It himself, around 20% of the MP3 won`t jump to the next when reaching the end.
With next-button of remote-control next track will start.

I can`t upload a zipped MP3 track: Die Datei Clout - Substitute.zip ist zu groß (PHP Limit).

Now I`ve changed the bootargs in:

    Hello,

I have a DM800 wich hangs on HD channels after max. 15 minutes.
I`m now testing with DMM experimental image 02 juli, but had the same experiences with DMM latest release.

After changing the bootargs and enabled the bootargs It was possible to made a serial log.
    The bootargs I used:
    root=/dev/mtdblock3 rootfstype=jffs2 rw console=ttyS0,115200n8

    Here is de serial output:

I have 7025+st receiver and I have same kind of problems. Before I had centauri swithes then replaced spaun and still sometimes when I change from terestial to sat channnel 7025 freezes, can you please help me what might be the problem?

Please take a look at this site: http://www.emp-centauri.cz/pdf/dreambox_7025_setting-en.pdf
EMP-Centauri has done several tests with a DM7025 and made a full testrapport.

To avoid further problems with DMM boxes they have made a hardware modification to all the switches, also the 8/1 switch has been modified.
