I found one little problem with your skin.
The help-windows is not OK. It is not centered, and also not full-screen, but is stays in the top-left-corner.

Will there be updates coming soon?
The KingSize skin is updated more frequently.

I solved the combining of shortdescription and extended-description in python.
I created a new file "EventNameExtra" in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Converter/ with the following contents:

Within the skin I can now use:

According to git there is a Combine-converter, but it also says it is not yet usable form skins.
Is it already usable?

I would like to combine 2 labels into 1 label:

Dein Wunsch ist nicht neu und es gibt auch schon Lösungen dazu, wobei hier die Verlinkungen wohl gegen die Boardregeln verstossen würden. Laut den DMM DEV's bringt das aber ein mangelhaftes Bild mit sich... deswegen glaube ich nicht, dass jemals von Seiten DMM etwas dafür kommen wird.

Bei der Lösung werden Werte (Pixel umgerechnet in HEX) in /proc/stb/vmpeg/0/dst_... (...top, left, width, height) geschrieben, wie es auch beim PiG gemacht wird.

With the new drivers I also have this problem on a DM800 with 1080p24 mode, but 720p works ok (720p24 is not supported on my tv). Going back to TV, sometimes there is a small border on the top, sometimes the screen is completely green.

Just installed a new image with enigma-date 23.08.2009.

• MKV with DTS audio. It works OK now if there is a playable audiostream.
• Subtitles still crashes after a while. So far no more crashes.
• Autoresolution still does not work. It works OK now.
• Subtitle language is not displayed as "English" anymore but as "Subtitle x" (where x is a number). Still not OK.
• MKV's with format like 1920x800 are stretched out vertically. In previous version this was OK. Is OK now.

Furthermore, it is still not possible to have decent subtitles. It should be like graphical-subtitles, so white characters with black outlined borders.

What are your settings in AutoResolution? I had almost the same, and my problem was that my TV did not support 720p24, and causing "no signal". After setting this to 720p (or any other you wish), it worked fine.

With this new driver it is all OK.
- Autoresolution works perfect
- No more delay scaling to "just scale" on 4:3 content
- Nothing is broken

Still having problems with a 20090529-enigma-image:

• MKV's with DTS sound don't play at all. Also no message saying it cannot decode DTS streams. In previous versions it was also not possible to plat a MKV with DTS sound, but it was possible to select another audio stream (AC3) to have it played.
• Playing a MKV with a subtitle works for a while, but it crashes. Without the subtitle it plays correctly.
• The subtitles can be skinned, but must be improved. The shadow should be replaced by a border, just like subtitles on a DVD or embedded subtitles on regular broadcasting.
• Subtitles are to wide (even using a condensed font), so they are cut into more lines. In the worst case you have 4 lines of subtitles.
• Autoresolution doesn't work anymore on MKV's with 1080p24. Manually using telnet still works.
• All subtitles are still listed as English.

Are these problems going to be resolved?

I also have found 3 more issues with MKV's.

• Subtitles are bigger and a bit yellow-ish. With the same skin DVB-subtitles are smaller and wither.
• After exiting mediaplayer (and returning to tv-mode) there is no more sound. I have to reboot to have sound back again. Maybe this is caused by trying to play a mkv with dts.
• The subtitle-selection screen doesn't show the correct language anymore. I have a MKV with 3 subtitles (English, Dutch, Turkish) and all of them are listed as English. Also it seems that the subtitle-list order is reversed.

In previous images it was not a problem to have a MKV with both AC3 and DTS sound. To have it played correctly, if was enough to select the AC3 audio stream.
In the most recent images, there is a message that DTS Audio stream cannot be played. It is not possible to select the AC3 audio stream.

Please make it possible to select the playable audio stream.

With the setting to Pillarbox, now mkv with non-16:9-format are displayed correctly.
But mkv's with the correct 16:9-format (like 1920x1080 or 1280x720) have black bars on the top and bottom.
Also normal tv with 4:3 now have black bars on the left and right, and tv with 16:9 content have black bars on the top and bottom.

This means that I have to swith to Pillarbox only to watch mkv's with non-16:9-format like (1920x800), and switch back to view other content correcly.
Can't you change this, so it will work with only one setting in all circumstances?

Because I don't have commit access to Enigma1-CVS, could someone who has, commit these updated two files:

encoding.conf -> /apps/tuxbox/enigma/data/
tr.po -> /apps/tuxbox/enigma/po/

BTW, how can I have commit-rights to Enigma1-CVS?
