    Well of course the box will not work with only one cable but two tuners configured as if they had their own cable. You need to set the not connected tuner to "not configured" or "internally connected".
    enigma2 will always try to use the best tuner possible. If both tuners are configured identical, it will start with the first one (which has no cable in you test setup).


    Why do you need advanced configuration anyway? If you only receive one satellite, "simple" should be enough.

    I have tried to turn A1 to "inactive", when zap to Free-to-air channel, info panel shows A2 in use. However, I can only see the SNR , no picture shows, and an error alert: No data on transport (Timeout reading PAT).

    I have always used tuner A. Today, I try to use tuner B, just switch Coaxial cable from A to B. the SNR is the same as A, however, an error says that "cannot find PAT". I tried to manual scan using tuner B, and 0 service searched.
    Therefore I switch it back to tuner A, and everything is OK.


    Is it another hardware defect or I am not in the right way ?

  • boot problem with led lighting red

    my dreambox 900 uhd did not work anymore.
    when i start it up by press onoff button, the front led lights red permanently... so i get the bootlog via miniusb, it shows:

    i think it is a hardware poblem and need repairment.
    but it is not possible for me to send it back to Germany, because Customs Clearance in my country (China) is much strict.
    i konw that dm900's foundry is at ShenZhen China, so dream team, is it possible to provide repairment from ShenZhen ??
    or is there a solution for this problem ?

  • Lag and no sound on some channel

    My box is dm900, when I zap to channels at 76.5E 11167v45000, picturing lag and not sound. But when I press pause button to timeshift, or streaming by laptop, cellphone..., all is well.
    i don't know if it is a bug, but I can not find any result using google, so as to post it here.


    the signal strength is good and I have tested a non-enigma2 STB that no lag and all is well. so I don't think this issue raised by antenna.

  • AVS+ Support Pls!

    I am a loyal fan of dreambox. And I bought dreambox 900 uhd as soon as it released at 5th Sept. It is really difficult to buy STB outside the chinese mainland, firstly chinese customs do not allow STB to pass through so I have to deceive the customs that it is a headphone, and secondly i have to pay 20% tax for it , the electronic product. The whole procedure take so long time, i got dm900 at 22nd Sept. eventually.
    However dreambox let me down when I tried to receive chinasat6A for mandarin channels. Nowadays, most channel on chinasat adopt AVS+ codec which is developed by chinese and have strong supports from the goverment. The trend is unstoppable and all channels on chinasat would adopt AVS+ sooner or later. The cpu chipset BCM7252SZBKFSBB3G, used in dreambox 900, support AVS+ codec well so i do not think it a difficulty to enable AVS+ support to dreambox 900uhd.
    Hopefully, could dmm team to solve this problem, or , release necessary interface/libraries for chinese developer to solve it ? I really like dreambox and do not wanna switch to another stb for mandarin channels.

    What I need to do is specify the URL to get an epg datafile named gemini800.tgz. However, I cannot find similar plugin for dm900. And I don't know the xmltv , could you guide me to know some details?
