Ich denke es wurde besser wenn anstatt 2017-01-02 wurde da etwass mit bessere aussage, ich kann mir nicht vorstellen dass ich schon so lange keinen update gemacht hatte.
Ich habe meine Windows 10 damals als version 1511 instaliert und nach paar jahren bin ich auf 1709.

Zombi hat mir geholfen es zu verstehen und ich habe der plugin fuer Zombis FulHDR3 skin geskinnt.
Ihr koennt das code unten ins /etc/enigma2/skin_user.xml reinkopieren.

Ich verstehe diese konzervative radikalismus or radikale konzervatismus wirklich nicht.
Warum seit ihr so stark gegen jeder neue idee kappiere ich wirklich nicht.
Es ist doch egal woher it kommt ob aus irgend kopf or aus open world oder ...

Die frage lautet doch wie es zussamen besser machen.
Und wenn es jeder anders will, kann es als eine wahl geben und DP sagt was der default ist.

there is no reason to not believe you have an issue, but it has nothing to do with the AGC, because there isn't any AGC measurement available with latest tuner HW.
You can check this in the original image in your flash, there isn't any AGC field anymore.

It looks to me you are lost in the image scene a little bit.
If you don't like the original image you can install the GeminiProject plugin on it to expand the functionality.
Or you can use image of another team and you can install it in the flash if you don't want to use the multi-boot plugin.
You can choose either from the Open-Aliance images or from the ones based on the original opendreambox image like Merlin, Oozoon and others.

Skin devs wanted!

I have put together xml files for the plugin.

I have used the skin included with the Netatmo plugin for inspiration.
Everything seems to be working fine, but in comparison to the Netatmo plugin the HRTunerProxy plugin always uses the skin included with the plugin.
Netatmo plugin skin seems to be suppressed by the @zombi skin I am using.

This is what I would like to understand and possibly fix the HRTunerProxy plugin to behave the same, I mean to be shown in a @zombi or other authors skin when installed.

Have you thought of replacing it?
Maybe it's a buggy tuner piece, I would also expect the newer HW being better at reception.
BTW my friend has one DM525 and he has no issue with channel tuning even with a 65cm dish, clear I might compare apples and oranges here, being not sure what satellites and what GPS position we are speaking about.

Regarding the memory size.
Here I think you are not right. I have tried to explain that it's quite common nowadays that CPU and GPU are sharing the very same RAM.
And on the specification of such a PC there is just one line which says RAM 2GB, which might not be transparent, but is a common situation.
You didn't answer how much memory you have free on the DM525 though

regarding the comparison of available options
I might be right there is lack of features in comparison to the community images, but IMHO it is enough for "ordinary" user Joe.
That's why the community images exist, you just need to choose

Are trying to tell us that the DM800SE is today still better then the new DM525?
At the time when it was marketed the DM800SE was certainly a different class with different price, but I don't think this device is able to keep breath with todays "low-end" (DM525).

Are you having some performance issues, that you are complaining about pure transparency regarding the memory available?
How much memory is used by your running image?
BTW. in case of the PCs and notebooks with integrated graphic cards it is working the same since ever, part of the memory is used by the graphic card, but full memory is advertised.

Are you having some issues with channel tuning or pointing of your dish, that you are complaining about tuner drivers not reporting the AGC?

Kann sein, dass die koennen in vielen Faellen wertlos sein, weil Mittlerweile hat vielleicht jeder Vor- und Nachlaufzeit eingesetzt.
Aber es hat mir schon paarmahl passiert dass ich vergessen habe es neu einstellen nach dem ich box neu instaliert hat.
Und gerade Timersymbole haben mich gerretet.

by letting Samsung do the downmix I have meant sending the 5.1 audio via the same path as the downmixed one (HDMI or optical cable) to the TV and let it do the downmix. Not sure if the TV is able to do the downmix of the audio coming through inputs, but it could.
Kind of the same what you will do with the AV receiver.

I know AV receiver isn't solution to the downmix problem.
And as I wrote you still may have some loudness challenges left.
But is certainly a path for having a better sound
