GIT-Probleme

    Beim erstmaligen Versuch ein 1.5er Image mit GIT zu bauen, bekomme ich folgende Meldung:



    Was hat das zu bedeuten und wie muss ich jetzt weiter vorgehen?

    Also in meinem alten (Debian) sarge chroot hatte ich das Problem auch, habe die Probleme in einem neuen (Debian) lenny chroot nicht mehr.
    Ich habe das auf eine zu alte git version geschoben, welche hast du denn installiert?

    Homescreen eurer Apple-Geräte noch nicht voll genug?

    Ich habe die Version 1.4.4.2


    Bin gerade dabei mir ein kubuntu 8.1 runter zu laden.


    Das jetzige erscheint mir ein wenig veraltet.


    [Edit on] Nach einem update von "6.10" auf jetzt '8.10' sieht es doch schon viel besser aus. =)

    Habe mittlerweile folgende Meldung:


    Ist der Server down oder habe ich ein benötigtes Paket noch nicht installiert oder evtl. ein falsches?


    Ok. Hab jetzt mal das Paket vom Backup genommen und damit läuft es.


    Scheint dann wohl eher auf 'server down' rauszulaufen.

    According to the site administrator it will be up again soon. Otherwise we're going to set up a repository from our backups. Please be patient, because cvs.tuxbox.org is a non-commercial server.


    A lot of tarballs are also available on http://dreamboxupdate.com/sources-mirror/. You have to know the name, but it's easy to combine from the information available from the failed checkout:

    This mirror will probably be tried by default in the future, but I think you're more likely interested in a short term solution.


    While this workaround won't help with every package, you can use my (partial) git mirror of the tuxbox repository to access e.g. enigma source code.

    I'm also uploading all other source tarballs (for OE HEAD) I'm having to dreamboxupdate.com. It might take a while...


    In case you're building OE HEAD and did not just update the source date in OE 1.5, you shoudn't expect everything to just work. Bug reports are welcome, though.
