Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.

Box type: 7025
GUI (enigma1/enigma2):Gemini Project 2 / 0.9 - enigma2 ?
Firmware version: ???

1. I bought a 200gb hdd, so I would like to use it in USB mode, is it possible? or should I necessary have a hdd inside DB ?

2. I must format it in linux mode? set it to some linux kind of partition, or I can format it in NTFS and use it ok?

I do not reaqly know if USB mount already work in Enigma2...

USB recording is not posible because 7025 has still USB 1.0 an his is not fast enough - so you should mount one inside the DB.

The DB sould be able to read USB storage (ex. Stick) with FAT32 - i never tried Ntfs

A HDD inside the box has to be format in Linux mode.

A note on NTFS - not many system can write to a NTFS partitioned drive. Most can read only.

If you want to use a drive and use a format that is MS compatible then use fat32. Fat32 is all that is needed as it is faster and security is not an issue.
