    As mentioned in other threads, please do not hijack other plugin threads for your own purposes.


    FYI: You are also overwriting the original DreamOS YouTube plugin by overwriting its data and folders. Therefore, please choose a different name AND folder for your plugin.

    As for posting in the MyTube Plugin thread, the only reason I joined is that my modified version had previously been mentioned as an alternative solution in this post, since the original plugin is EOL, and no one objected to that. It wasn't my intention to hijack the thread.


    Regarding the name, I previously searched the official feeds and did not find any plugin using this name. However, now that you've pointed out the conflict with the original DreamOS YouTube plugin, I have absolutely no problem changing both the plugin name and its folder path to avoid any overwriting.

    • Direct DASH playback in GStreamer (no temp MPD file).
    • Added "Preferred Audio Language" option.
    • Added "Original aspect ratio" option (for supported devices).

    • Bug fixes and improvements.
