Well the first most common mistake made by users switching from OE-A based Boxes. Is to again try and put such none supported images into the Dreambox.

Do not try that!! Personal I do not understand why anyone buy a Dreambox and then later want to put one of the unsupported image into their Dreambox.

You do not buy an Macintosh (Apple) Computer just to put Windows into it

Second, Take the time and get to know your new Dreambox, Learn the Menu system and also read up on the dpkg/apt installation since you probably are custom now to the old opkg.

There are several very good DreamOS based Images to choose from. Bu your new Box is shipped with the Factory image.

Any questions about other Images then the Factory Image should be addressed at the proper forum where you found those images.

So it all depend on how you are planning to use your new Dreambox. The biggest different compare to other brands. This Factory Image is pretty well stocked up

And you can install many plugins from the feeds for the common use.
