Oh really? That's is why I asked for proof. So your whole thread is for trash...
What do you mean? I do not understand

Where is the proof that this in any way related to NTFS?
I hadn't thought about this either.
As far as I know, the problem with video spooling is a general unsolved bug in OE2.6 - no matter if ext4 or ntfs is used.
Instead of rewinding etc., use the number keys to skip forward or back
default backward/forward settings
1/3 = 15 seconds
4/6 = 60 seconds
7/9 = 300 seconds (5 minutes)
can be changed in Menu - Settings - System - Customize (expert mode)
I think this was part of one of the last updates:
added trickmodes (ffw/rwd/slowmo) for amlogic platforms (kernel/driver update required)

By the latest update its been a little bit better but it hasnt been completely ok yet.
if you have dreamONE, you only have to try with it and you can find out what the problem is.
There's always two options:
- be stubborn
- be smart
you decided to go with option stubborn, I decided to follow the advice of the devs to jump with number keys (what I anyway do since years)

Your Feeling is wrong. i don't know those two.
OS: 4.5.0r2-2020-05-16
When it’s being play from hard, there is no problem, but when i forward or backward the video like twenty times or more, the image will be constant.

I feel helpless and desperate.

I hope this problem will be fixed.
Hi gutemine
I still have a problem, after a year. That's why I had to use another Dreambox model.
When i play the TS files from HDD (EXT3/4 formatted), there is no problem, but when i forward or rewind the video for example twenty times or more, the image will be constant or the receiver doesn’t work at all and i have to turn it off from the back button and again turn it on.
Did you use the number keys to skip forward or back? If not you should give them a chance. After using a month you will ask yourself why not using the modern way earlier...
Rewinding/ forwording is so... 80s... My point of view: DP should throw this VHS–relict out of all images.
default backward/forward settings for the normal way (number keys)
1/3 = 15 seconds
4/6 = 60 seconds
7/9 = 300 seconds

Rather than a solution, this is wiping out (or erasing, or covering over) the question.
Life is hard...
In my opinion, using 2 buttons (forward/rewind) on the remote control is much (more) easier than 6 buttons (1/3/4/6/7/9).
Apparently Dreambox can not solve this problem of moving forward from the movie
Connect your HDD to USB2.0, try again.

Unfortunately, connecting the flash to usb2 still did not solve the problem. After moving the movie a few times at 128x, the device locks and the device becomes unusable.
