I've a little problem, maybe someone can help me.
I've a two months old dm920hd with Broadcom FBC Multistream tuner, and I don't have nowhere in the menu the option to select 16apsk ,only Auto, qpsk and 8apsk.
It's the latest dreamos image, from 31.01 ,with Gemini addon on top.
From the changelog of the drivers,I think that the tuner it's capable of supporting 16apsk.
What I'm doing wrong?
Thanks a lot!
Blindscan for 16APSK with "Triple" DVB-S2x / MS Tuner here is ok...
So it will probably work successful on DVB-S2x FBC Tuner too? Do you checked this?
I have also here no option "16APSK" in manual search mode. Maybe "auto" will be the correct option?
For example there were found by blindscan 16APSK Transponders on Eutelsat 10°east.
But there are "data" services, so there can not scanned and can not displayed as "tv-service" in channellist
Multi 133000 2/3
Which transponder (Sat/Ku or C-Band) for example do you talking about?
Thanks for your reply.
I was trying blind scan, but it doesn't detect 16apsk.Maybe I need to put Skip empty transporders on No.
I want to try for e.g on 8W a few frequencies:
I don't understand why I don't have in Manual Search ...Modulation..option for 16apsk.
Maybe the new Broadcom tuner it's not capable of that?
The code was just not exteneded to display it, but there is also no need to select it manually as you can always use the Auto setting instead.
Test on 8°west with blindscan 12500 - 12750mhz vertical. the active feeds with 16apsk were found without problems.
(with dvb-s2x "triple", unfortunately i have here no bcm45308x to check)
one problem, by the way, the srg feed(s) are in 4:2:2
Thank you both for the replys.
It's a little confusing to not be able to slect 16apsk in menu, but I'm glad that it works on Auto mode.
