Is it possible to record the hdmi in input signal?

For example, if I send from Apple TV with HDMI output to the dm920 the HDMI in, then, if I can get it by using the dm920 record the video? (In the assumption that the signal there is no copy protected)
Or such a thing is not possible? -
try my hdmi Input plugin, it allows to loop trough to TV but you can also enable Hdmi input as last channel in your favorites which is transcoded and hence available for viewing, streaming and recording via rtsp server

Thank you for the good info. I'm going to try it for sure!
I hope to get over this weekend my new toy -
It would be interesting to know whether this plugin allows also UHD recording? As we know, the new Apple TV can handle UHD also. But I do not own the UHD version, so it's just for the interest.
Anyway, thank you. -
please check the plugin thread, 9x0 work maximum with 1080p transcoding
7080 and 820 with 720p -
Thank you for the clarification, this is great info!

I finally got it installed, but the concern is that what ever I connect there to the Input, I get a response like 'HDMI Input nothing connected'.
Do I need anything else to further set up somewhere? I have a DM920 ultraHD and the latest original image:
Dreambox OS:4.3.1r23-2017-12-16
Image: Release 2017-11-07I tried to connect to the Input:
a) My lapotop HDMI out
b) Apple TV HDMI out
c) Oppo Media player HDMI outI tried also with Oppo, that all OK with my laptop, it shows nicely. I feel like there is something in front of the HDMI or it just not work with DM920?

No, he simply doesn't use the latest Version of the Plugin ... which is 2.2
-
Could be a reason too...
-
Thanks, it works!!!
-
I know ... but why are people reporting problems when there are none ... except the ignorance to not even visit the original kit and support thread ... and check for the latest kits and problems ...
-
Thanks, but what this mean on screenshot-8?
-
Please check the original Thread, if I start re-typing it here this is pretty inefficient.
Check if rtsp Streamserver is running ... and No in case it is an Open* Image you don't even need to check ...
HDMI Input plugin only makes some basic settings and adds the channel to the Favourites (which you could all do manually also), if you changed them already there is a good chance that it will not work.

After some amount of wooking all works!
I did a one example, this is done by using the Apple TV:Externer Inhalt www.youtube.comInhalte von externen Seiten werden ohne Ihre Zustimmung nicht automatisch geladen und angezeigt.Durch die Aktivierung der externen Inhalte erklären Sie sich damit einverstanden, dass personenbezogene Daten an Drittplattformen übermittelt werden. Thanks for confirming that it works
At least now you gained some understanding about the Streamserver, Transcoding parameters and the capabilities of the box.
-
Yes, I can organise a lot of needful things with it.
I can also put there to HDMI Input for example iPad or iPhone or the camera via HDMI output. To run the stream server was the need to play a little bit more and restart enigma2. After the job is finished, I put the server stop again that can be used box normally. The plugin works better than I hoped.
Thank you once more again. -
Hello
you know I'm new to the dreambox system and maybe, I'm definitely missing somethingI downloaded your plug-in / hdmi-in.
I'm working on a 920 with Firmware dreamelite 6.0.
I see hdmi in but I do not know how to record .....I looked for the "Hdmi-in" channel but I did not find it -
ok I installed hdmi-in 2.5 on dreamelite 6.0 and now I see hdmi-in in the favorite channel list but when I open it tells me: connetting please wait ...
on the plug in you can see while with the streamserver no ...
but what is the function: Blue Led ???
