I received my box today, plugged it in and the menu setup came up. No lights were flashinh in front. I tried usng the remote to choose the settings but the box is not responding.
The remote is working on my DM800hd, so i know the baterries are good.
What is happening? I have to mention i havent flashed the box. And i if i do, is the front touch screen button that i should hold down when turning the power on?
Please help!

The touch button, the LED and the IR sensor are all in the front of the box and connected with the same cable to the mainboard. Maybe that cable is not fixed or defect. Easiest would be to open the box and check that cable. A picture for reference: DM525 flashen über StandyBy Taste

I dont wanna open the box. Do you think the box is broken? If so, i will be forced to return it. -
Same trouble at my new Dreambox 520. Loose cable, I think some have forget to mount the cable in china.
Just open the box if other have the same issue with a new 520.
