Hallo! Bitte helfen. Nach der Installation von zusätzlichen Programmen durch das Menü des Receivers auf blinkt ständig "Dreambox" und es ist nicht geladen. IP ist nicht belegt. Wie es vmlinuz-Rettung die Datei herunterladen - 3,4-r0.3-dm820-20160405.bin?

Box heute gekauft, NN 2.5 geflasht, wollte zurück auf 2.2, Box bootet nicht mehr..

So. I have now readjusted myself and the cfe BIOS, I only have a serial console. Since I had the instructions apparently misunderstood. So you have to get the serial access first. If you can create a boot log, then you can try to get into the cfe BIOS.
It works like this:
1. Switch off the box. Simply hold down the power button for more than 15 seconds
2. Start the serial connection on the PC, so open Putty and start a boot log
3. Start box by power button. But do not let the power button go, but keep it pressed until the countdown is at 0 and "loading setup ..." appears.
4. After that, you should see an issue with " CFE> " on the PC in Putty . If not, press Ctrl + C again.

Now, when you're so greeted in the serial console, you can start with the commands from @Ghost's tutorial.

I`m following this to get into cfe bios in a DM900, but I simply can get into cfe. I can get the bootlog.
Can anyone give some ideas?

Well, with dm900 you get into recovery by switching on the box and then holding the finger of the same hand on the sensorfield

Thanks for answering.

Well I tried with my DM520 and get the cfe mode at first try, but with dm900 it simply doesn`t enter into cfe mode. I don`t have access through telnet or web interface ( rescue mode ).

When I try get the receiver in rescue mode it seems everything goes ok, the led starts blinking but when it stops I just have an exclamation point ( ! ) in the display, no ip from DM900. I have a fritzbox with dhcp activated, normally I get for the dm900 the address dm900.fritz.box or for the dm520 dm520.fritz.box.

Frohe Weihnachten wünsche ich euch allen.

Mein Problem habe ich mit einer neuen DM 525HD, die mit dem OPEN ATV Image, alle 5 Minuten hängen blieb oder einfach nur nach 5 Minuten ein schwarzes Bild hatte und gar nicht mehr reagiert hat.
Wollte jetzt ein NN Image drauf flashen (das neuste Daily) und seit dem fährt die Box nicht mehr hoch. Der Touch vorne leuchtet dauerhaft rot.

Ich versuche grade nach der Anleitung die Box wiederzubeleben aber leider klappt es nicht.

Wenn ich die Box über den Kippschalter ausmache und wieder einschalte und dann im Putty Strg+C drücke, passiert nix und irgendwann kriege ich ein : Connection Time Out
Die Box hat aber laut DHCP des Routers eine IP zugewiesen bekommen.

Könnt ihr mir bitte weiter helfen ?

ich hab jetzt mal die DHCP Liste auf dem Router aktualisiert, leider keine IP mehr für die DM525 , was mache ich nun, wenn das Gerät keine IP bekommt ?

du hast recht gutemine , bin über den Taster in den Rescuemodus gekommen.

Hab jetzt das Open ATV nochmal drauf gespielt zum Test, läuft.

Problem ist die Box freezed komplett mit Grünen Streifen von oben nach unten auf OpenAtV

Jetzt ist die Box mit nem lauten Piepen wiedere hängen geblieben und das Bild ist schwarz, außer stromlos machen bleibt jedes mal nichts anderes übrig.
Werde die Box zurückschicken.

Weil die Openxxxx habe noch nicht mal die gleichen Treiber wie DreamOS.

vielen Dank, werde ich mal probieren, ansonsten hatte ich bisher beim OpenATV und der Box keine Probleme, außer jetzt bei diesem Gerät.
