    :smiling_face: im new to all this can anyone please advise me on what my problem might be..when i connect my dream box to the wall plug it stays on all the time it wont switch off ,,,many thanks,,

    You mean the situation, when you select Menu -> Shutdown-> Shutdown, the Box still is on Power and shows on the TV screen "Please turn off" (or something like that)?


    For the old DM500 this is the regular behaviour as the DM500 is missing the hardware (frontprocessor) to turn on and off the power supply programmatically. So you have to do that by unplugging the device :thinking_face:
