remote control not responding

    hi guys


    the remote control of my dm8000 is not responding. the dream button on top is flashing twice every time i press a button but nothing happens or appears on screen
    what does this mean? do i have to change it?

    Did this occur suddenly? Can you still control your TV with the remote? If yes, maybe you accidentally programmed the Dream-mode of the remote control.

    It can be the remote buttons can not get in contact with the printed circuit board.


    You fix it by gluing tin foil on the button back,
    While you are at it do it on TV and Power Button aswell.


    I use double-sided tape for attaching foil.


    Use a credit card to separate remote, then you get no marks into the plastic from a screwdriver.


    By sliding the card around the crack it will go apart.

    but my remote suddenly started blinking twice with every button i press!
    when i change the batteries it starts responding but after a couple of presses its back to blinking dream button
    probably i have to change the remote
