Hi - Anyone succeeded using a USB2.0 100Mbit Fast Ethernet NIC as a 2nd Ethernet device on a dreambox 8000?
I like to use both the internal adapter as well the 2nd one ( usb ) to be able to stream HD to multiple devices at the same time so I will not have issues ( hickups ) assuming the USB adapter will not take too much CPU power.
Anyone has a list of compatible chipsets?

A second ethernet adapter that is connected via USB is most likely to require more cpu time than streaming two HD channels over the built-in NIC.

apart from that which chipsets are compatible in kernel 3.2 " Linux dm8000 3.2-dm8000 #1 SMP Sat Sep 7 14:30:03 CEST 2013 mips GNU/Linux ", as devices come " cheap " nowadays it is worth doing a trial.
