problem with 800se

    hi all


    i loaded a new image onto my dream box 800se and now all i can get is a error message (error no ca found) its the first dream box i have owned. i have tried looking for solutions online but they all seem to be for clone boxes and i am not sure if these are ok to use on my original box.


    any help would be much appreciated.

    what image did you flash into your box? Filename and source?


    Anyway, trying to recover it with "dreamup" software and the mini-usb service port on the back of your box could maybe help you.


    You need to connect your box via this mini usb with your pc, install this uart driver:

    and follow those instructions:

    make sure you flash an image from www.dreamboxupdate.com or /www.dream-multimedia-tv.de, not any 3rd party sites!

    if you are using 3rd party image/firmwares, you will not get help here, that's your own fault then. Things like this would not happen with images from dmm ...


    Ask the guys that build your firmware/image for support :winking_face:
