Menu-Information-Service

  • Hello guys,

I am an owner of HD800se and would like to thank you for the great Enigma2.

However, after several weeks with my 800se I would like to ask for small improvements for the future.
First of all, if you go to Menu-Information-Service, you will have a choice of 4 coloured buttons. The problem is that the yellow button (Transponder) and the blue button (Tuner staus) show almost identical information.
If I may suggest something, would it be possible to use one of these 2 coloured buttons to display the information on all CAID's and Provider Idents for a given channel? That would really be helpful.

For example, Eurosport on Hot Bird:

    0100 - 000068
    0500 - 022A00
    0500 - 022F00
    0500 - 024F00
    0500 - 030100
    0500 - 032A00
    0500 - 041F00
    0604 - 000000
    0931 - 000000
    0B01 - 000000
    0BAA - 000000
    1803 - 000000
    1813 - 000000

Or even in an extended form: http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/244/caida.png
Thanks for considering this for the future.

  • Hello,

I am refreshing this topic and kindly ask if developers could look into Menu-Information-Service.
Yellow button (Transponder) and blue button (Tuner status) show almost identical information. Maybe it would be possible to use one of these 2 keys to show CAID and Provider information similar to the following (an example for RTL Crime):

  • arki,
I don't know what image you are using but in my image this looks different.
I am using a certain image from December 2010. Perhaps this information has been added within the last 6 months?

Edit: In the pictures I can see that CAID's are identified as well as ECM pids. But there are no provider ID's.

  • I think GP3 plugin does the trick here.
I am using a different image and there is no such detailed information using scrambling systems for each channel.

  • I use Sherlock plugin but the information is not enough.
I would really appreciate it if someone could come up with a plugin which would provide the information shown on the screenshot above (example is for RTL Crime).
The information includes not only scrambling system but also CAID, provider ID (if available) as well ECM and EMM PIDs.
For me, however, CAID's and provider ID's would be satisfactory.
