(Dreambox 8000) Aspect ratio wrong, how to correct on Dreambox ?

    4:3 will not work:
    1. on 1080* and 720* cause then it breaks HDMI specifications(maibe it is posible, but Ghost will not spend his time just for test) - to able have 4:3 we have then use SD resolutions!
    2. many TVs ignore or interpretate wrong 4:3 flag on HDMI stream

    Tried it with the latest update, but I have to say, that I am using OpenPli, so in order to be certain I would need to use the latest official Dreambox images.


    you talk about DVI / HDMI, but I have said multiple times that I'm using component (the red / green / blue cables).
    The HDMI input on my TV is reserved for the PC.
    Anyway, I tried it this time with HDMI and with component, and tried 576i, 576p, 1080i.
    In all cases, the problem remained the same.
