    Please don't ask me how the dreamboxes are getting the tuners in this file but I couldn't find it in the complete sources. Maybe due some drivers... no idea!?


    That was indeed the fix! I also had to download tuxtxt.ttf but now it starts. :smiling_face:


    I just did a little test. DVB-T scanning goes fine (Gigabyte GT-U7000-RH). And I can tune it and I see values. But no picture yet (I guess it still needs some patching). DVB-S(2) scanning doesn't work on my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR4000. But I think this is because of a not working DISEQC configuration.

    By not enabling DISEQC, I do now have lock on my primary LNB (Astra 19.2e). I can now receive EPG.

    Well, I think this is the missing MPEG-Decoder. You have other hardware in your PC and the Hardware-MPEG-Decoder of the Dreambox is missing in your PC. We must integrate somehow a Software-MPEG-Decoder. There are a lot of open-source ones. Maybe libavcodec or something else.

    Yep. If I read the code correctly, Audio and Video are being decoded by the adapter. So we need a softdevice output for audio and video.

    MayBe a FullFeatured DVB-S (including MPEG decoder) card will do the trick.

    How should this work? And what is "remote enigma2"?


    I have already lircd running with an own made lirc.conf fpr the DMM-RC (with lircrecord).


    You don't have a picture because of a missing MPEG-Decoder.

    I honestly tried to reproduce your results, but failed. Enigma2 always crashes with SIGSEGV.


    Maybe one of you wants to share his source tree and libraries with me, e. g. upload to rapdishare.
