[DM7025] Rotor not controlled correctly when zapping

  • Hi,

I have manually scanned a few satellites using my rotor (SM3D22) which is a DiSEqC 1.2/2.2 rotor with no problem whatsoever.

However when I try to zap between different satellites it refuses to rotate.

What could the problem be? I have already changed the rotor current limit to 100mA. This didn't work, so I totally disabled this setting. Also with no succes.

What I could find in the manual of the rotor is that the current when moving would be 95-150mA (and when starting to rotate, the current would go upto 350mA for about 80ms).

Could this be the problem? (But than my second question would be: Why can it rotate during scanning of channels?)

    Thanks in advance,
    Edwin

  • The current limit is used to detect rotation or rather the end of rotation. By disabling this Enimga2 uses a rotation angle based timeout. Whole problem probably seems to be a misconfiguration in tuner setup. Posting your tuner settings might be helpful.
