NEW DREAMBOX 520 HD Stuck on Read Light

  • Hello

I bought new DREAMBOX 520 HD and tried to install new image and its say error when flashing and i press reboot and the box stuck on red light . try many method and box still stuck on red light .

    i need urgent help .

  • What image do you try to flash and by which method? Has the box bootet succesfully prior to you flashing?

  • i flashed throw web after puting the code in DCC and got the ip adress of the box update the firmware and got message to reboot and its stuck on red light after reboot .

i only know that this is the only way to flash the image on the box 1
their more than 1 way to flash the box ??

the image was latest oozoon . the image inside the box was very old which come with the box . i order the box 2 weeks ago and yesterday receive the box and this happend .

and what is the solution now to fix the issue .

  • create a bootlog, otherwise nobody will know what's wrong.

Red light just means enigma2 doesn't start. Normally you can still enter flashing mode via rescue loader when you touch led button after turning on power at the back. Then it will start blinking and boot rescue loader and show ip on TV

  • i tried the rescue method and the lights stuck on Red .

i connect teh box now with my pc with USB CABLE and the windows got the drivers.

i have Putty software . can u tell me how i get the boot log file throw Putty ??

    Thanks for replay mate

  • there are plenty of wiki, how to and even videos on how to do a bootlog....

and I'm not your mate :grinning_squinting_face:

  • og got the log .

  • this bootlog just shows that your box tries to boot from your failed flashed root filesystem. Now you have to boot reschue loader again and do online recovery and then you update rescueloader before continuing.
