    how install enigma 2.5 with mini usb serial(service) dm520 hd ?
    connect with putty terminal serial to dm520hd but I do not know what the commands are to install the package tar.gz on the pc ?

    Technically this is not 100% true, if you logon via a terminal emulation via the serial cable to the rescue loader all the flash* shellscripts are available and if you have copied an image to the rescue partition before it would be then flashable via the script commands directly.


    Reason is simple - the webif in the rescue loader is also only a graphical wrapper for these shell scripts doing the real 'work'.


    Practically on the other hand Jogi29's answer is 100% correct :face_with_tongue:
