      Hi,

      wollte meine dm820 neu aufsetzen und mit dem Befehl "to-the-rescue" den RL booten.
      Die Box bootet dann aber einfach wieder ganz normal.

      Gleiches verhalten auch mit folgender Variante :

      2. reboot

      Wenn ich die Box ausschalte und beim Einschalten den Power-Knopf gedrückt halte komme ich ganz normal in den RL.

      Kann das jemand nachstellen oder liegts evtl. an meiner Box ?

      Bin eigentlich nicht DM freak,helfe aber meinem Freund der noch weniger Ahnung hat.
      Folgende Situation:
      An DM820 wollte er unbedingt den rescue-loader aktualiesieren,was auch gemacht wurde per telnet und
      "update-rescue -v".Eigentlich so wie sein sollte,aber jetzt kommts.
      Er kommt nicht in reascue-loader und dem zu folge kann kein neues Image flashen.
      Es hillft nicht Power Taste drücken,es kommt zwei mall Anfrage. 3,2,1.
      Wen mann weiter drückt geht die box in aus,Power Off.
      Lässt mann fruher loss startet die normall mit zuletzt geflashtem image.
      "to-the-rescue" hilfft nicht box startet neu

      reboot auch nicht,Box startet neu.
      Habe nach diesem "Rezept":Dreambox reagiert nicht mehr
      probiert kann ich aber nicht zu CFE>.
      Strg-C drücken hilfft nicht,Power Taste auch nicht,Box startet immer bis zu Ende.
      Habe auch per Telnet andere rescue probiert,eigentlich sieht gut aus:

    • wenn die Box gebootet hat, hilft dann ein

      update-rescue -v

      um den loader upzudaten?


      wen das nicht hilft, ins CFE kommst du so:

      Box seriell mit USB-Kabel mit dem PC verbinden und dann z.B. putty wie für einen bootlog konfigurieren

      am besten putty ein Fenster mit serieller Verbindung neben einem putty Fenster mit aufrechter ssh oder Telnetverbindung am PC einrichten

      dann per telnet/ssh rebooten, zum "seriellen" Putty Fenster wechsen, und spätestens wenn folgende Ausgabe auftaucht die Tastenkombination [Strg]+[C] so lange schnell hintereinander drücken bis die BOLT> Konsole erscheint

      wenn du dann in der BOLT Console bist, kann du den rescue loader auch von USB booten, per TFTP ist nicht zwingend notwendig und der command stimmt glaube ich auch nicht mehr:
      boot -tftp -elf .....


      nimm einen in FAT formatierten USB Stick und kopiere das rescueloader.bin auf den Stick und benenne es um, z.B. in: rl.bin

      USB-Stick in die Box und ins CFE booten, wenn die BOLT> Konsole erscheint, den rescue loader so starten

      wenn das nicht klappt, das USB device neu einlesen, manchmal wird der Stick nicht sofort erkannt

      Mein Problem ist in die CFE> Konsole zu kommen,mal sehen..
