If gutemine is correct in his assessment and PLi uses old DMM drivers, you should first crosscheck with a current DMM image.
And could you please rephrase your first post in English? I do not fully understand what your problem is exactly.

  • I turn on OpenPli 3.0, but whether I have OpenPli or an Image of DMM it comes to volume that basically too soft compared to Mp3 or other media also movies I playback the volume higher than HD broadcasts. My question is where is this? According to OpenPli employees is it just the Driver that is supplied by Dmm. When I put the volume on my DM8000 100 should I put on my amp 45 to normal room strength gain. Conversely I turn than Mp3 then I have my amp to get the same strength on 20. And that is actually my problem.

  • So your problem entails that various sound sources differ in their absolute/perceived volume?
Sadly this is a very old problem that probably will never be really solved.

The relation between absolute and relative volume - and therefore the loudness - strongly depends on the mastering of the audio.
While there are solutions to remedy this issue, they are not universally applicable.

When it comes to Dolby Digital, various decoders handle features as dialog normalization, DRC and pre-gain in different ways. Hence the difference in volume.
As this is done by the SoC, you would indeed need driver changes in order to alter this behaviour.

You could also use the Automatic Volume Adjustment Plugin to try and work around the issue.

    dreambox-dvb-modules-dm7020hd - 3.2-20121108-r7.0 - Hardware drivers for Dreambox

  • as someone has call MartiniB i have borrowed one device(Roland UA-55) to record what comes from dreambox output
in recorded Mp2 peak levels don't come upper than -3dB, strange that difference isn't that big as expected
in downmixed Ac3 not higher than -10dB

but didn't able to make complete experiment cause:
UA-55 had only coaxial input but my new Philips TV has only optical output
(old Philips TV would not come from another room)
also i didn't able compare with recorded samples -
radio_recordings.ts which are made by dm8000 can't be play or demuxed by any tried program(Vegas; VLC; tsMuxer..)
and also dm7020(sd) didn't play that ts files

had also plan to play and record some audio samples like whitenoise or generated tones, but UA-55 accepted only 48kHz on input,
found samples were 44.1kHz, Dreambox plaid them, but device didn't able capture

and found new problem, when chose in `Audio Tracks` menu `Left` then no sound on DVI output,
on coaxial and optical still present
when Stereo or Right then sound come on both sides

actual NN2 Unstabile in both dm8000sstt(betabox and first edition)

i have to search another capture device with coaxial/optical inputs and 44.1/48kHz support
