hi everybody,
i lately bought a second hand dreambox 500s (looks original)! but when i powered it and connected it to the tv it showed nothing on the tv screen and the green led stayed green ! after reading a few forums, i presumed it needed a flash or installing the image so i made an erase flash which was successful and installed [Moderator] Image is in violation of the Boardrules [/Moderator] which was also successful too( i used dream up) . but when i plluged it again to the tv nothing happened as if i didn't flash it at all. i tried different images with different versions and still only green light on without any response to the standby button or remote control unit !! could it be the powering ??
i am using an AC adaptor 12V - 1A while i see on the net that most ac adaptors of dreambox are 2A or 3A !!
